The Dighton-Rehoboth Gridiron Club was founded in 1983, then established as a non-profit organization in 1985 by a group of parents to raise money for the D-R Regional High School Football Team. Made up of former student athletes, parents, fans and coaches, the organization provides money for equipment, scholarships, and financial aide in any way for the football players and cheerleaders.

The Rehoboth Youth Soccer Club (RYSC) offers soccer programs for boys and girls ages 4 1/2 through 15. The Fall season normally beings on the first Saturday following Labor Day and ends in early November. All games are played on Saturdays (no game during the Columbus Day weekend in October). Teams will be put together starting in July. You can expect to hear from a coach in late-August. Teams may practice one or more times during the week at the discretion of the coach. This is a recreation league, meaning that although games themselves are competitive, no team standings are kept, and no tournaments or playoffs are held. We try to balance all teams with more- and less-skilled players, and teams are built “from scratch” each year. All children receive an award for participation at the end of the season, but there are no trophies for “winners.” Priorities are soccer education, sportsmanship, and fun. Competitive soccer teams are fielded under the auspices of the Dighton-Rehoboth Soccer Club, which is a cooperative venture between RYSC and Dighton Youth Soccer.
