VOLUNTEER COOKS
GERT’S CAFE - MONDAYS
Do you have time to cook lunch on Mondays for Gert’s Cafe at the Senior Center? This is how it works: you plan the Monday lunch (just good home-cooked food), purchase the food (you’ll know the number of people by the Friday before), do the prep work at home (if you wish), and then prepare for the lunch service. Then expect a lot of grateful seniors to thank you and rave about your fine cooking skills!
What could be a better way to volunteer three or four hours of your time per week?
The more cooks the better because they can alternate weeks.
